From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, patient, and took the time to really listen. The veterinarian was especially impressive—thorough, calm, and never rushed. They spent more time with us than most human doctors do, and answered every single question my wife had with kindness and care (even the super detailed ones). I take care of a few TNRed stray cats in the area that I can't bring inside because I'm already at the capacity for pets in my apartment. One of these cats had an abscess that needed to be taken care of, so I made an appointment at this vet. However, she didn't return to my apartment and I was unable to make the appointment. Highland Animal Hospital chose to refund the appointment fee and thanked me for trying to help the kitty. An incredible show of kindness, especially since I know how expensive running a vet office can be.
We have taken multiple animals to Highland Animal Hospital, needing services ranging from vaccinations to surgeries to euthanasia. The staff is always considerate and helpful and the building is comfortable. The veterinarian and techs always treat our dogs well, give treatments that work, and provide great service overall.
