“I've been seeing Dr Couret and team for years. The team is professional and friendly. Everyone treats me with courtesy and respect. Not all dental offices treat patients as partners. These folks do. Also, they are sensitive about managing patient pain and comfort. Yesterday, they needed to use a dental dam on my mouth. These dams are not wonderful experiences. However, Dr. Couret remembered that I was not a fan. He and Perla (sp?) and checked in with me regularly during the work and removed the device promptly when the work was done.

“My wife and I have been going to the Meyer Dental practice since we moved to Des Plaines in 1976 and that was when Dr. Tom's dad was the head dentist. Now, Dr. Tom's daughter has joined the practic. It's amazing how pleased we have been with how amiable every staff member is, as well as knowledgeable and efficient. “The folks at Weiss do a very through job. My hygienist even took a round of x-rays (on the house) to make sure she got the job done right. Better than that? They explain the process every step of the way. There are few times when a person feels more vulnerable than at the dentist's office. You've got a stranger's fingers in your mouth... Not only did my hygienist talk to me about every step in the process, she also made sure to return some power and control to me without me even asking. She told me exactly what dose she was giving me for Novocain, but told me how to ask for more if I was in pain. I felt comfortable knowing that I was a collaborative part of the process.“
