Serving all of Central Illinois, we specialize in quality custom homes and remodels and are passionate about providing more affordable home modifications for handicap accessibility. We also accept roofing, siding, window jobs and build decks, pergolas or sheds. Jim and his son, Brock, value the relationship that is formed with our clients and will walk with you through the entire process, from selecting a home plan to the final details and finishing touches. Our goal is to make the building process as pleasant and stress-free as possible. Many of our clients are repeat clients; a testimony to the quality and dedication that we provide.

From start to completion, Jim Homes and his crew were more than we could have asked for. We knew we wanted a builder who could build our home to stand for more than a hundred years and Jim Holmes has done just that. Jim had excellent communication all throughout our build. Anytime we had a question or a concern Jim was quick to call back and address what ever issue we were having. Jim and his crew also showed excellent craftsmanship. I never had to worry something wouldn't be done right. Jim's guidance, communication, craftsmanship, patience, and humor made him an excellent choice for our builder. We highly recommend Jim- we liked working with him so much, we used him twice ! When he built our first home, we were newbies, and he carefully walked us through the process of a custom- built home. Our latest project was a complete remodel and Jim's expertise shone there as well. He is a problem-solver and he worked with us to redesign the floorplan- which included moving 2 stairways. Jim was great to work with when I built my house. He had some good ideas and suggestions to help make it the place I call home. He answered all of my questions and kept the build moving along in a very timely manner. Knowing Jim is a born again Christian also gave me a peace of mind that he would be honest and fair and that I could trust him with building my house. I would recommend him if you’re looking for a good contractor.
