It was my first time going to big city optical- Glenview location. I LOVED working with Shawn! He was professional, yet so bubbly and friendly. It was almost like shopping with a friend. He gave honest feedback on what type of glasses looked good with my face. Kiya, same goes to you! Thanks for all the great feedback and giving nice explanation throughout the eye exam process. Thank you for a fun experience. Dr. Portillo was also very thorough with my exam. I rarely give reviews, but they def made my experience a pleasant one
I went in to see if they could adjust my Ray Ban sunglasses. They did it for me free of charge. I didn’t even buy them there. True customer service. I will buy from them next time I need anything eyeglass related.
We have been to a few other “Big City Optical” locations, as well as other optometrist and I just want to say the staff at the Glenview location (especially Shawn and Kiya) were absolutely AMAZING! 10 out of 10 we highly recommend!! Ask for them!They were both extremely helpful, attentive and professional. They made sure our needs were met and we were entirely satisfied with our frames and contacts before purchasing. They took the time to thoroughly help us find the best frames for our faces and were patient.I’d especially like to point out how a very rude customer had walked in during our visit and was unjustifiably giving Shawn the hardest time about her order... read full review
