“I travel 40miles SPECIFICALLY for Danada Veterinary Hospital!
My family and I were loyal patients to a veterinary practice in Woodfield for 25+ years. Our 2yr old puppy got sick and our previous vet couldn’t find the answer - by no fault of their own. We had to bring our boy to multiple different vets and a few universities try to find answers to this “mystery” illness. The only good thing that came from that experience was finding Dr. Gunderson. She spent countless hours with us in the office, took late night phone calls to answer questions, and took her personal time to research answers. We will forever be thankful for her during that time.
Additionally, Dr. Wallach has been incredible. Our female corgi came down with acute pancreatitis last fall. Dr. Wallach got her in right away, made sure to see her next day for a follow up, and called me periodically over the next week to check-in on her.
Because of these two, I happily pack up my bunny and travel 50min for her check-ups and nail trims - now that i’ve moved out of my family home. I will always go out of my way for Danada as they continue to value special veterinarians like Dr. Gunderson and Dr. Wallach❤️“
“Great care for your dog. I have been taking our dogs here for over ten years and always been amazed by the level of caring from the front desk staff all the way up to the doctors! I highly recommend them and would never go anywhere else!“
“Easy to make an appointment. Staff and Dr Seeger are great and very attentive. Care of my dog is the best.“
“This is a good veterinary clinic. They also do some emergency services too. It is very clean and spacious. I enrolled my new puppy in a Pet Annual Wellness plan which seems to be a good value so far. The vets and techs are kind and genuinely interested in the animals. I don't feel rushed. They answer all my questions. Best of all my dog Molly likes it too! Not afraid.“
“We LOVE Dr. Hayna! She is so knowledgable and really cares for our dog just as much as we do!“
“Amazing staff and Dr. Our 6 year old dog had an ear problem for the first time in her life. Dr. Lexi took her time to help us figure out what treatments we should use and explained everything perfectly. She has a very warm and comforting effect on her patients. We will recommend her to all our friends.“
“I have been taking my sweet boy to this office since I first moved here in 2018, and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. This review is LONG overdue but Dr. Bishop and Dr. Lopiccolo really go out of their way and take their time to make sure your animals are well taken care of! Both of my pups hate having their nails trimmed (and they are definitely not easy to deal with), but the doctors and staff have never made me feel like they were a headache to deal with (even though I definitely know they are lol).
Absolutely love how dedicated they are to making sure you and your babies feel comfortable and at ease. Earlier today my pup ripped his nail off and I was so worried ( not knowing how serious it was or wasn’t) and Dr. Bishop found time to fit me in first thing in the morning so I could still make it to work and also make sure my baby was ok. He got my pup all wrapped up and even found time to complete all his shots that he was due for so I didn’t need to bring him back next week. Not only that, but he will always go out of his way to offer any assistance you might need to make the appointments run smoother.
HUGE shout out to the doctors and staff for always handling my dogs’ nail trims, they say thank you and so do I ?“
“Dr Ron and his staff are the best! He is so gentle with our sweet Nala and she loves him all the more too!“
“A very friendly and nice place, they never refused to help, a place where your pet feels safe! I recommend it to everyone ♥️“
“Highly recommend this vet. They were very helpful when my golden retriever had pneumonia & my mini dachshund was getting sick from her shots. They always had a solution and I always knew my dogs were in great hands.“
“We have only lived in Illinois for a bit over a year and recently switched from another veterinarian to Village Animal Clinic in Carol Stream. Took our sweet Marley in for some odd coughing and wheezing the other day and she was diagnosed with Bronchitis/Kennel Cough. We have no idea how she got it as she was up to date on shots and is never with other dogs other than her sister. They gave her fluids, did an x-ray to make sure it was not worse than suspected and medications for home. The following day, they texted to check in on her and it was so much appreciated. We finally found our home!!! Thank you so much for being such an amazing office!!“
“Clean facility, everyone is so welcoming and answers any questions you may have . The groomer is truly amazing.“
“Eternal gratitude for more time with my dog isn't even close to enough. You see, he saved me. Brought joy to my world!
I've been bringing my little guy to Dr.'s Stram & Leo since I adopted him at around 9 months old. They have always been so good with him & to him. They take their time answering every question I have. They also explain every suggestion, sometimes twice! They always go above & beyond!
From Tricia in surgery to the wonderful care from Sam & Olivia - He ADORES his Olivia. Heather beautifully grooms him, them Kim and Sabrina take care of us up front. I love being there with them, like a family. So much love.
We just had our first serious issue in 12 years. He had a cystotomy to remove a bladder stone. ( They found it while BEING CAUTIOUS BEFORE ANESTHESIA for a teeth cleaning session ). They kept in close contact with me throughout the day. When I picked him up I thoroughly understood everything I needed to do. They checked on us every day for the next 4 days! He was doing amazing the very next day! Dr. Leo is an amazing surgeon who, like I said, has amazing people around him.
I'm a really anxious, worrisome person. I'm not the "ideal" pet owner a vet would want to deal with. They put all of my stuff aside & think of my baby. I'm really grateful for every one of the people at Elk Grove Pet Clinic.
I hear there are vets that are owned by corporations. Why take the chance of losing the love & individual care my dog gets here?
***Just ask yourself if you feel like your vet cares about your pet as if it were their own***

“Sutton Road is the best animal hospital in the area for several reasons, and we've been to many specialists:
1) The doctor is exceptionally smart and caring. She recommended a new (approved late last year) drug for our cat that has enhanced his life.
2) These are the nicest staff/vet techs that I have even seen. It's a pleasure to come in.
3) The clinic itself is not chaotic. It's quiet, and you quickly move into a room. Great for skittish pets or ones that don't tolerate others.
4) The costs are truly reasonable, which is odd for a smaller group, but I believe this is because they prioritize care rather than gouging.
I love these guys and highly recommend them.“
“I was so impressed! The staff had positive attitudes and their efficiency was pleasantly surprising. In this age of workers showing attitudes that they would rather be anywhere else, you really notice when people know their jobs and are happy. The semi that houses Cardiac Imaging is an amazing piece of technology. It's clean, modern, efficient and comes with vibrant colorful artwork on glass. Best looking semi out there!I would highly recommend. It was a pleasure to feel secure in capable hands, even though the test could reveal life-changing results. It eases the mind for the hour you are there.“
“It took me trying four different vets before feeling comfortable with Dewayne. They give your pet their full attention, with a Vet AND Tech both present for almost the entire visit.
It is not a sleek office. It smells musty. So be okay with that before going in.
I drive an hour from Chicago to visit here. They don't keep me waiting more than five minutes though so it might end up being faster than the city vets.
My sister takes her dog there, and she said that the office had to cancel on her once because another client had a pet having a life threatening emergency. So if you're someone who has a tightly managed schedule or will get angry if you are bumped this is not the place for you.“
“Awesome staff. Very caring. My Korkie was there to cross the rainbow bridge. And I was new to the state.“
“I just started taking my dog Jake to Arlington Golf Animal Hospital. It has turned out to be a great decision. My little buddy has been so well looked after by the entire staff. You can tell that they all genuinely love animals and care about your pet. Just as important as the care is that you receive, their pricing is excellent compared to other vet's I've been to. Do not hesitate to bring your pets to their clinic. I highly encourage you to do so !!“
“I have had cats for over 30 years and this is the best vet for cats in the entire Chicagoland area.“
“These guys are the Very best! I have moved out of Lisle and still travel back to bring my dogs to them. They show a lot of personal attention to their patients and Really take the time to explain things to me ❤️“
“Our pup, Burnham (famed armpit smelling dog) passed away, suddenly late Christmas Day 2023 at 12 1/2 years old. He had Dr. Muehrke when he was a pup for few years and then Dr. Vidt. Later, he had his last 5+years with Dr. McCallian. All doctors are incredible, but Dr. McCallian was outstanding. Our new pup, Cooper (rescued from Kentucky with twelve siblings) we had planned to see Dr. McCallian but he was on maternity leave with his wife, so we saw Dr. Kayson--another fabulous experience. He was great with Cooper and made him feel very comfortable. He explained all questions we had plus provided us with a plethora of information (haven't had a pup in 12 1/2 years) --which was very helpful, thus far. We have never had a bad experience with anyone--including the front desk and techs. I highly recommend them to everyone! Thanks for continuing excellent care for our pups over almost 14 years. You are all much appreciated always.“
“I have been taking my pets to VCA West Suburban for a number of years and have always been very satisfied with the service, the vets, and all their employees. This past Friday, however, was my first visit with Dr. Kayson with my Great Dane, Ivy. I just want to say thank you to Dr. Kayson for his caring, compassion, thoroughness, and sensitivity, in addition to how gentle and caring he was with Ivy. Sadly, in spite of efforts to diagnose the cause of Ivy's seizure, we lost her very suddenly the next day. Dr. Kayson called me this morning to express his deepest condolences and to discuss what may have happened. I can't recommend VCA West Suburban enough, but especially Dr. Kayson.“
“Dr Bowes is awesome! Always responsive, kind, and keeping your pet's best interest at heart. We love All Creatures and Dr Bowes!!“
“This practice group of Dr Miller and his residents took excellent care of my dog's corneal ulcer. Dr Miller took his time explaining her injury and the treatment options. I followed his recommendation of surgery which was done the same day. One month later and two follow up visits my dog has made an excellent recovery. I highly recommend this veterinary ophthalmology practice.“
“I had to make a last minute appointment due to my dog making a turn for the worst over night. She stopped eating, drinking water and could no longer walk. Glendale animal hospital got me in that morning. My dog Ginger was suffering and they helped me give her peace. She was my best friend for 10 years and I had no idea of what an end of life visit would look like but they made it amazing. Staff were all so kind, sensitive and understanding. They discussed steps, options and what to expect. M I am grateful for the hospital, their staff and all the care my dog received prior. Thank you for everything. ❤️“
