My son started at USMA 1.5 years ago and since then, my daughter and I have joined as well. We checked out several martial arts schools but were most impressed with USMA Glen Ellyn. They have helped my children develop confidence and strength as well as strengthen their discipline and respect towards others. All the instructors are great but Grand Master Lee exudes such a gentle authority. The students learn the art of taekwondo as well as the Korean culture. As an adult, I have enjoyed getting back into shape and building my strength as well as finding a group of adults that support each other.

My 10 year old son and 12 year old daughter have been attending U.S. Martial Arts Academy for over a year. They enjoy the challenge and have thrived. Their Taekwondo skills have developed but there are several attributes they have acquired that we were not expecting. Their self-esteem, confidence, mood, and levels of determination have noticeably grown.

We love it here! We started our son at 3 years old and the instructors were so patient with him as he adjusted to listening, sitting still, and following instructions. He is now 4 and of all the activities we’ve put him in this is his favorite. If you have an energetic/strong-willed child I would highly, highly recommend you try this place out!
