“Strong recommendation for Charizma Salon and Spa. Diamond gave me the best haircut I have had in years.
I wanted a shorter cut and I have thinning hair. While the owner, Nandita, specializes in beautiful layered cuts for longer hair, her new stylist, Diamond, specializes in shorter cuts. My hair is wavy to curly and baby fine, with some added cowlicks. Diamond looked at a photo that I had brought and knew how to make it work perfectly on my face. She worked with me to be certain that the layers, length, and bangs were fine, and got everything right. The best part is that after a week it still looks great! I can easily do it the way that she did it, and that is rare with styles! I can also simply let it go curly and it is just as cute. I have been getting so many compliments. My hair looks fuller, too!
I also liked the fact that newer stylists were encouraged to watch Diamond work, as their work permitted. I could tell that the staff liked being there, and they worked well together. It had a very warm environment. The staff was very friendly and I will look forward to returning.

Samara is, hands down (get it!), the best nail technician I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She truly cares about you and the health and beauty of your nails. She is patient and listened to all of my concerns with my nails. She is accommodating and we discussed better product choices for me to be using. She understands my busy life as a home-schooling mother and gave me tips and tricks to care for my nails between appointments that are easy to implement and maintain. “I cannot recommend this place enough. I don’t enjoy going to spa/salons because it can feel unfriendly. Glo is never like that. Everyone has been wonderful,but mostly, GiGI has been my favorite to get a tan with. She goes above and beyond explaining how to take care of your tan and then spends extra time making sure your feet,toes,etc look their best. And somehow I don’t feel uncomfortable being half naked while she does it. I really appreciate having a woman owned salon like this close by where the service is consistently professional and wonderful.“

“I loved my experienced! The vibroacoustic session was unlike anything I have ever experienced. As a healer, massage therapist, and yoga/meditation practitioner, this session was a recalibration of my soul. It felt as if all of my body was in alignment, nervous system was calmed after a gentle progression of music and synced vibrations from the table. What this session is doing on a physical, spiritual, and emotional level is fascinating.

Nadia was very helpful, supportive, and informative. She asked me what my desired feeling from the session was and gave me the time and frequency that was complimentary to my needs.

“I absolutely could not have asked for a better person to do our hair/makeup for my wedding!!! Molly was such a joy to work with and be around!! With multiple unexpected last minute changes that came up, she was super accommodating and flexible and made it all work out. She really helped orchestrate the timeline the morning of the wedding. Couldn’t have done it without her!! As someone who does not do my own hair or makeup very well it was hard to explain or know what I wanted for my wedding day, but Molly did it better than I could have even imagined and it all turned out absolutely perfect. The trial was wonderful as well to work through how it was all going to go. All of my bridesmaids, mom and grandma had nothing but positive things to say about their hair and makeup as well!! I completely recommend Molly for hair and makeup needs!!“

“I wanted to do something special for my husband's 50th birthday. I decided to try this! First of all...I have struggled with my body image for my whole life. I have PCOS and it affects my weight(185#) and weird hair growth. I have anxiety which has caused other problems. I NEVER thought I could do something like this. Just talking to the lady to schedule the appointment was terrifying but she made me feel comfortable. Trying to walk into the building the day of the appointment was a whole other challenge. I talked myself into it and made it in through the door. I was greeted by the most kind women that assured me it would be a great expierience. One thing that helped was to know that they all had to expierience this when getting hired. They all know the feelings I was feeling that day. My make up was beautiful. I'd wear make up all the time if I could make it look like that! Then came time to take "it" all off somehow I did that, too! Once they started taking pictures it was so easy! She told me where to go, how to pose, where to put my had/arm etc etc. I couldn't believe how comfortable I was wearing nearly nothing! I ended up purchasing all of the photos at the end on a drive. Was it expensive...well yeah. They work hard! Was it worth it...100%. My husband's reaction was priceless. 1st thing he said was that he's always seen these on facebook but never thought I would do that. For his 30th birthday I had surprised him with a trip to his first michigan game and bought him an authentic jersey. I wore that jersey for part of the photo shoot. I also took a few other photos in a bralette and panties. My advise...if you ever thought this would be neat but not sure if you could then just do it!!“

“I attended a event and got my make up done by KeKe. she did a fabulous job. I didn’t go in with an idea… I told her what colors I possibly wanted; she based it off my dress and accessories and did awesome. I loved the way the foundation laid and blush was applied as well. My make up lasted all night even though I am kind of a bit oily.

I traveled maybe 40 minutes and will return for my next big event !

“I can not say enough about this wonderful place! I have thick, curly hair so this beauty bar is a godsend. Michelle and Kayla usually do my hair...and never fail! I have the membership for 2 blowouts a month, and it is very much worth it. My visits roll over month to month if I don't use them. I have been going to Betty's since they had a small shop in Yorktown mall. It's very clean. There are very limited blowout bars in the burbs, so this is a gem! I have an amazing stylist who cuts and colors my hair so this is a great in-between treatment that allows me great hair for days. I have had makeup and updos done as well...there's really nothing these talented ladies can't do to make you feel gorgeous, darling!
