I want to take a moment to thank the incredible staff for saving my dogs life and taking such good care of him. We brought our Pomeranian in on Friday evening after noticing a large amount of blood in his stool. Dr. Breashears saw him Friday evening, ran some tests, gave him some meds and he seemed to be ok. Saturday morning he took a turn for the worse and back to emergency we went. Dr. Breashears admitted him for further testing. My cat was born with a kidney disease and we didn't think this would happen so soon, he had started to vomit all day the other day and would not eat or drink or use the bathroom for two days straight. Saturday night he got up to walk and he was falling over. We rushed him to Hawthorne and they told us that he had a urethral plug and his bladder was so full it made his kidneys worse. Our girl was very sick with piometra and getting more sick by the hour with the infection in her uterus. The staff at Hawthorne Animal Hospital found the problem and took extra care to make sure they expidited her radiology reports to get the results faster knowing our girl didn't have time to waste. They did an emergency spay and she is recovering well now thanks to the caring staff. I can't say thank you enough. Our little girl is our whole world and we were beside ourselves with the thought of losing her before it was her time. We will forever be grateful and will recommend Hawthorne Animal Hospital to everyone who may need them.
