“I called Wirth after I had a technician come out from another area geothermal company. This other company had been to our house multiple times over the last 20 years. The owner is a very respected professional man. I’m not sure he is aware that his technician did this not once but twice to us over the years. We have a very expensive, but efficient Water Furnace geothermal unit that had saved us over $40k in energy bills in the last 20 years. The technician from the other company said that the unit was leaking refrigerant, and the whole unit needed replaced. It would cost us anywhere between $12-$15,000. Not knowing what to do, I called Wirth to come out for a second opinion. It turned out it was a capacitor that cost me $40. With a couple hours of labor, my entire bill was $235. Ki Wirth initially came out and spent the time to answer all my questions. He could have agreed with the technician from the other company and quoted me a new unit, but decided to investigate to see if the unit was actually leaking, and sent a tech out to inspect and repair my unit 2 days later. No leaks detected! My unit is still purring away a month later, during a massive heat wave, and we couldn’t be happier. These folks are honest and not looking to take your money, and provide reliable and reasonable priced services. I’d give them 5 stars all day long.“
