I developed shoulder pain that was unprovoked. My Dr prescribed me steroids and said try therapy. If that doesn't work, get an MRI. I was desperate because the pain was constant. Nothing I did relieved it. I could not sleep or move. It was scary. I also considered a pain specialist. I called my regular chiropractor, but they could not fit me in immediately. I remembered that Hart Wellness sponsored a 5k I ran in September so I gave them a shot. They took me in right away.

I have been seeing Dr. Erik Eggert since he started at The Hart Wellness Center and he’s been amazing at keeping me aligned and moving healthy. However, this last visit was a game changer for me. I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant and not having an easy first trimester - morning sickness everyday, nausea, food aversions etc. I went to see Dr. Eggert for my regular maintenance and had no idea how much that adjustment would help me. He focused on my nervous system and digestive system to help make the nausea less extreme. I came here after years of discomfort that built up from my office job. I had back stiffness and neck issues that often developed into mutiple days-long migraines. In just a few meetings with Dr. Eggert, years of persisting issues went away. I was genuinely shocked how quickly I improved with just two visits. He asked very indepth questions and gave me answers and explanations to everything we did along the way. Nothing was uncomfortable and he really appears to be both knowledgeable and loves doing his job. He also provided me tips and exercises to help prevent a future relapse in my health.
