Kelsey just did an amazing color correction on a horrible highlight/lowlight job I had done a month ago in a different pricey salon. I had asked for a ginger color closer to my natural shade of light brown and walked out with an ashy gray blonde and platinum mess. Ugh. Kelsey did a three-stage process to warm up the blonde, over dye in ginger brown and seal with a glaze. It looks fantastic. Given my first bad experience I appreciated that Kelsey was a great communicator, asked lots of questions and established parameters really well— did I care more about tone or hue—what was possible, not possible to do. Matt has been my hairstylist for two years and then I changed after moving 40 minutes west. Big mistake. I’m back now for cuts and coloring, thanks to Kelsey’s wizardry.
