This service shows a local address but that couldn't be further from the truth. They produce leads for local businesses. They arranged for a local electrician to stop by to look at some wires that had come pulled away from the house. He said that the job would be about 1.5 hours and he needed some minor parts. Pioneer then called me back and said the cost would be 1100 dollars, but they would negotiate. What kind of business negotiates like that. They said they. after talking to the tech (which they never did), the price could come down to 900, but if I did not want the work done I could write the check for 85 dollars for the service call. I understand high prices for talented trade people, but this was highway robbery. As it turned out, it wasn't even the electric wires that had been pulled out, it was the cable and phone wires. More a handyman's work certainly not a $600 an hour job.
