“Having read these reviews just now, I'm very surprised by the lack of 5 stars or 4 at the least. I could not be happier after being told for about 5 years by flooring professionals that my pre~finished floor could not be sanded. Not only did they sand it beautifully, they removed the micro bevel as well because it never really looked clean. We were supposed to have it refinished the 6th through the 10th but when they called last Monday to see if they could start Tuesday, April 30th, we were so happy and definitely made it happen. The guys working for him are punctual and friendly and they do so much of the work by hand on their knees. My flooring goes on an angle to make the room look larger so that is not easy and requires extra work. The floor is now nice and flat and I can tell you, too, we had 3 estimates; one other gentleman was very nice and he measured the rooms using the laser as did Tom. Both of those guys said it would be 4 or 5 days to finish. The 3rd guy came in, didn't measure anything, looked around and said it could be done in 2 days for $3600!! Anyway, we loved how professional and precise Tom's quote was. Had I read these reviews first, I may not have gone with him but I am so happy I did choose Tom & Peter Flooring and seeing as these are older reviews, I am confident you, too, will be thrilled. Remember, sometimes things happen in peoples lives and maybe they couldn't respond timely.“
