Before reading, for perspective: - I have fair-olive, clear skintone with dark body hair (ie an ideal candidate for successful laser removal/reduction). - I am also a very easy going customer, and know that experiences of any sort can be many factors of things. That being said, this is only the 3rd negative review I have ever written for a business. But this time it was truly necessary: I bought a six-session Laser hair removal package here on Groupon. After the initial consult I was assured by the doctor the procedure would exceed my expectations, and then again by the tech so I was convinced to buy another for an additional package for my armpits (which I had seen succcess with electrolysis but was much more expensive in the longrun so thought it logical to switch then to laste ) I saw some progress with each session, but by the end of my 6th you could barely tell the difference- I'm talking, without exaggeration, a 5% change to my bikini area and maybe 25% to my armpits. It should also be noted, that there was at 3 sessions that I had to stop per before the procedure because she had "accidentally" changed the intensity level to something that was lower than previous. Also, the procedure barely hurt at ANY of the sessions, despite what friends and reviews had warned, and she always insisted it was because I "must have a high pain tolerance! The technician (who has since been let go) convinced me that I just needed more sessions, and sold me me another package, "honoring" the original Groupon packages at my original purchase. I think she also did this because we had a disagreement on how many sessions I fulfilled (she claimed I did all 6, but I had only done 5 for each area respectively) and when I asked to see my charts, she quickly changed her tune. The tech also zapped part of a tattoo, not just once but TWICE! It caused damage to the tattoo, tho minimal. When I arrive to my next appointment, I was told that the previous tech was let go. But not until i was buck-naked waiting in the room, and it was the new tech who told me. The new tech was very kind and agreed that my previous "job" had done little to nothing, and that none of the records show anything useful. After she did some practice tests of her own, she surmised that I was being ripped off by the previous tech because the previous settings would in no way work for me effectively. Its also interesting that the pain level was more on par with what i was expecting (a brief rubber-band snap type feeling with each zap) Halfway through my second set of sessions (around 10 appts and about 2 years in with only about 25 % reduction in the bikini area, and 75% in my armpits).. already well past what I should have ever needed).. The tech broke it to me that would only reach so much success because the machine we were using again wasn't powerful enough, and the one they should be using on me had broken months prior (many, many months after my consult) and the doctor wasn't telling clients, and was refusing to repair or replace it. To this date, he is conveniently "not getting" my phone calls, or is refusing to return them. I also learned during that session that she was leaving the practice, for many reasons ranging from bounced and/or late paychecks, sanitary, and ethical reasons. She is now successfully working at another area medspa and many patients have followed her there. It was also during this session that there were multiple (ie 5 or 6) cockroaches (which they tried to tell me were "water bugs". Sorry, I'm not that d***** crawling in and around the ceiling light fixture. That was both her last day, and my last time setting foot into that building. I wasted so much time and money here- Don't be fooled! They will show you enough progress to convince you to come back, with little to no improvement over time. After 11 sessions I am over this charade and am moving on to a much cleaner, ethical, honest and effective practice. I

This is very shitty place for laser treatment. Lady would be using the same setting for all 6 times and then give some b******* reason why there wasnt any difference. If u ask for settings, she would hide the booklet where she made an entry. One of the last session, she didnt do it properly, left most part without applying laser. I would not recommend for anyone. Its waste of money. BEWARE !!!!

I went to Lori here for their Vela Smooth laser treatments for stretched-out postpartum belly, with belly fat & wrinkles. I had price-comparison checked with 4 other local spas. This office was where my other physician was located, so I tried it. So it wasn't located in a cheesy spa environment with gaudy chandeliers & Perrier for the guests, but that was reflected in the price. I don't want to pay for the ambiance, I want the results! And that's what I got. The cost was 1/4 of the competitors which afforded me more treatments. The results were AMAZING! Lori gave me the recommendations for skin creams without any high pressure to buy them. I followed her recommendations to the letter & had such great results. I will return this next bathing suit season to hit that tricky saddlebag cellulite- totally helps with results lasting forever with minimal maintenance! I'll be back!
