My son and I just walked out of Sports Clips after getting a haircut. We have always gone to the Sports Clips. ( I have 3 boys). The new male stylist they hired did a complete hack job on my son‘s hair. I am not a professional and I could’ve done a better job. It’s like a four year old took scissors to his hair. Do not let the male stylist cut your hair or your child’s hair.
With that said, another stylist fixed my son’s hair and they gave me a coupon for a free haircut. I was VERY IMPRESSED by how they fixed the mistake that was made on my son’s hair! Thank you. I found this place exploring downtown Elgin. Stay Sharp is wonderful. Ive always received my haircuts at the local places and no disrespect to them but it's different when a barber cuts your hair. They also provided a wonderful shave. Bryan was my barber and he took his time and used precision to do everything. Emmanuel, Nestor, and Marco are also over there and I watched them all work tediously aiming for the perfect cut. Keep spreading that LOVE gentleman, it shows in your work. Thank you.

I woke up this morning and discovered N O WATER, YIKES!!!! After calling city, neighbors to see if they had water, etc. decided I must call a plumber. One could come out on Monday. Today is Thurs. That wouldn't work. Finally called Alexander. The gentleman said he could be here in 30 minutes. And he was. Another one of his staff arrived shortly. They were courteous, put "booties" on to keep my floors clean. Diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within 30 minutes. Cannot beat their rates. Highly recommend Alexander Plumbing. Joan G.
Highly recommend Even Flow! This is one of two projects they worked on(believe it or not, these pictures are from the smaller project). Our home is from the 40s and needed a massive overhaul on pipes(lead and galvanized), sump pump, main water shut off, spigots, and water heater. The job was done impeccably and we are loving our amazing water pressure and additional space in the utility room with the tankless. We are so grateful to Even Flow for taking care of it all and would use them again in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about All Make Appliance repair. They have fixed my refrigerator, washing machine, and dish washer. They are honest and very knowledgeable.
The crew showed up early and called first. They placed corner protection at every corner so their hoses did mark the walls. I had the older carpet deep cleaned , they use a comercial floor Machine to scrub the carpet. Then spray and suck. Then rake the carpet. The carpet that is newer i just had it sprayed and sucked. We are delighted with all three of the large projects All Around Home Improvements has completed on our 1894 Queen Anne: a porch restoration, a complete window replacement and a gut rehab of an old bathroom. Scott Savel is an able and thorough craftsman who deals calmly with the "surprises" an old house frequently holds and works meticulously to restore old details. Most of all, I'm impressed by the intelligence and enthusiasm he brings to his art. For example, he worked from a faint shadow on our front siding to reproduce the embellishments on the porch posts that existed when our house was built 119 years ago. He found an ingenious way to make a bathtub fit in a space that was 1/2 inch too small. He arrives on time. His estimates have been accurate. His advice has been invaluable. I recommend All Around Home Improvements without reservation!

This was my first experience in hiring a landscaping company to help me with trimming very overgrown bushes and a tree along with a spring clean up! They made communications very easy with Facebook direct messages, text messages, and phone calls. I have had TMJ surgery in the past and it’s not easy for me to get stuff done, even cleanings. However Dr Breen and his staff at Elgin Dental were GREAT! They were friendly and made me feel very welcome. Tammy was so caring about how I was doing while she cleaned my teeth. I needed to see a specialist as well and even then, the specialist needed some X-rays from Dr Breen and it was sent immediately. I was very pleased with everyone! They even explained all my costs after insurance. I highly recommend Dr Breen. It’s nice to know I found another great dentist after mine retired. Oh and Sheryl was so helpful and caring from the moment I walked in there.

I found Suburban dental because I was looking for a new dentist and being that Dr Rubina specialized in sleep medicine it seemed like a good fit. I was having issues and was recently diagnosed with severe apnea. After getting a few fillings repaired and some cleanings I moved forward with the oral appliance. It is the best thing that ever happened to me. Everyone at the practice is kind and accommodating. Tina actually switched the billing for me on the appliance to go through after Jan1 so I wouldn't lose the payment towards my deductible right at the end of the year.
Dr Silfies is the only dentist I will ever trust my care to. She is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy and compassionate. My entire family sees her including my grandchildren. She genuinely cares about her patients.

After the first month of in office treatments, the pain and stinging subsided, and by the end of the treatment program I was med and symptom free. Based on my ongoing Chemo treatments, Dr Horn advised ongoing at home treatments which have been excellent. I continue to be essentially pain free and couldn't be happier. Dr Dorn has an excellent and caring staff and I give his practice my highest recommendation. Thanks to all!

I visited Holze Wellness Center this morning after an injury to my finger and nail while playing with my border collie.

Despite the injury being to my right middle finger and losing the nail, Dr. Holze's attentive approach and laser therapy truly expedited the healing process. His treatment not only relieved pain but also promoted rapid healing, allowing me to resume normal activities sooner than expected.

Kendall Road Equine Hospital is a place I’d describe as liking and appreciating, but hoping to avoid if possible! Lol
I’m very blessed to have an equine hospital like Kendal Road Equine Hospital near my barn! Over the past several years I’ve used this hospital for my own horses as well as helped others with their horses during emergencies and trust their staff to be willing and honest with me about the care they give. I’ve seen different veterinarians and veterinary technicians over my visits and I appreciate the communication they have with me, which isn’t always the strongest point in a veterinary facility! In my experience they have been good at being forthcoming and helpful about anything they aren’t comfortable or not able to do at their facility and make suggestions accordingly.
In addition, I’ve also used Kendal Road Equine Hospital for other non emergencies. My horses and I have had good experiences with the staff and especially like the convenience of the facility!
The goal is always to avoid situations needing the vet but it’s great to have good ones like at Kendal Road Equine Hospital when you need it!

We have always been really happy with Dundee Animal Hospital. Dr. Lathrop and staff are wonderful and provide compassionate, straight forward care at standard prices. I like that they also have an after hours service and hospital should we need it.
10/10 experience with this vet. They have the best people working there and provide exceptional care for our fur babies. Prices are fair and they even check to see if they can provide additional services your pet might need while they already have them sedated like dental cleaning. Thanks for being so great!!

We love the pawber shop. We have an anxious dog who also has arthritis and they are very patient and gentle with him. Been going for about 3 years now and we can usually get in pretty quickly.
