My house had a few leaks and needed a new composition roof. I called Calcott Roofing because I’d known about the business for a long time. As a retired educator that’s on my own value and trust we’re very important to me. The estimate was done promptly and work started as soon as winter weather broke. The crew was on site with the sun and quickly removed two layers of old shingles and black paper. Decking that was bad was replaced and cover with paper. Architectural shingles I picked were going up by mid-afternoon on my 6 room home and garage. A very organized crew that worked until sunset. They wrapped the job the next day and cleanup was amazing. I read a review about Calcott Roofing and Siding that stated they were low pressure. I would agree. However, I think that is really a symptom (albeit positive) of their unresponsive and slow nature. They are incredibly sluggish when it comes to responding to questions, concerns, finishing the job, and pretty much everything else. In fact, they were even slow to submit a bill for service. At least they're consistent.

They did a fair job on the roof. I didn't have to wait too long for them to get started. That was pretty much the only thing they were quick to do (i.e. get started). The ripped off and replaced most of the shingles in the first day. However,...read full review
