I worked for Tovar for several years, through the '15 Winter season. I left for another company to earn more money (I was a sub contractor for them). I was asked to come back by an individual I was unfamiliar with. I knew quite a few people there (since I had been there for multiple years), so I asked some others of their opinions of the person that was trying to get me to come back. They told me some bad things about him. I texted the person trying to get me to come back, and was straight with him. I told him that I would not work for HIM specifically, but I would come back to Tovar if I was managed by someone different. That person blackballed me, and put me on a "do not hire" list. Even though I had been there for YEARS, with zero negative interactions with ANYBODY there, while I worked there. Being blackballed by one individual because of a personal problem, even though you have always done great work for them is petty, and a bad business practice.
