J.T. Maier, the owner of AdvantaClean, got everything going very quickly. Super nice guy. He explained what everyone was going to be doing. And when I had questions after they started, he gave me answers.

The first to come out was Ian, on a Sunday. He assessed the whole situation. He was polite, thorough and professional. Then John and Adrian came out on Monday and they were the same. Friendly, hard workers and very respectful. Now-a-days that's hard to come by. All of them knew what they were doing and got to work immediately. And, they even cleaned up after themselves. They put on the shoe booties when they came in and took them off when they went out.

Then Will came with Mari. Will was overseeing the project. He explained everything that was happening, because it was a bit overwhelming. But, it defintely let me take a breath. Mari was also very nice.

What a great company. Hopefully I won't need their help anytime soon, but if I did, I would definitely call them. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.“

“Oleg was great to work with and they kept us informed of all steps in the process with great detail. It was about 4 months from contact to completion of our water damage project, but it was mostly because there was a flood (pun intended) of new customers at the time stemming from a massive rainstorm in the area. Also, supply chain issues were to blame. But overall, we are very pleased with the work and would work with them again (though we hope we never have to).“

“The crew showed up early and called first. They placed corner protection at every corner so their hoses did mark the walls. I had the older carpet deep cleaned , they use a comercial floor Machine to scrub the carpet. Then spray and suck. Then rake the carpet. The carpet that is newer i just had it sprayed and sucked. “After an 8 hour day of errands and fun we came home at 5:30 on a Sunday evening to our kitchen ceiling raining like Niagara Falls. After speaking with our insurance company and spending hours waiting for one of their many “preferred providers” to reach out we elected to pick our own mitigation team and called Restoration 1. We reached out at 7:30pm, when towns around us had experienced massive floods, and we had a team in our home at 9:30pm. They stayed until 3:00am and were back again at noon the following day. “Used them to check whether or not mold was present in my attic. They did a thorough inspection and found only traces of mold near two ceiling openings which were treated. They also made sure that no blown in insulation was blocking the openings to the outside vents over the roof eaves. “Re 5-6-2024 Water Damage in Condo from Unit above; Dishwasher Sprung Major Leak State Farm sent PUROCLEAN of BARTLETT to our condo the following day at 7:30am and they were prompt, professional, extremely courteous, and explained everything they needed to do. They checked daily on the status and updated us of what follows. Julian V. & Dustin were the team members who did the water mitigation work for a whole week and both were a delight. The Reconstruction Manager came by to assess what needed to be painted and repaired. We were the Liability Claimants on above unit owner's Policy and that hang-up with State Farm took until July 11, 2024 before we got our check. All people who own condos should READ their Dec & Bylaws, most importantly, the IL Condo Property Act, if you want to get a claim COVERED where the insurance company can't wiggle out. It works. Awaiting Puroclean to advise of painters' availability now. NOTE: same unit owner water damaged our unit a 2nd time on 6-27-2024 in Laundry Room & Furnace Room, apart from Dishwasher flood and ignored our letter for $787 reimbursement as quoted to fix by Puroclean. Frankly, I'd never advise anyone to buy a condo. A townhouse is better, but a single-family is best if your roommate or "other half" is "handy". Looks like we will be stuck paying for this out of pocket.“
