“Stylist: My sister in law has multiple tattoos done by Joanna, and I have loved each one. So when the time came for me to get another tattoo I knew I wanted her to do it. Joanna was great during the design process. She took the basic rough ideas I had and created a beautiful sleeve. She made sure I liked (I loved) every part design and worked with me on the small changes I wanted done to one part of design. Day of getting the tattoo, she took her time with the stencil and its placement making sure it was in just the right position for how my arm moves. If I didn't know about her work previously, that alone proved how much she is dedicated to making sure the work was going to be perfect. During the session, she made sure I was doing okay and if I needed a break. 8.5 hrs later, I have this beautiful sleeve that I can't stop staring at. I LOVE IT!

“I’ve been to New Hope twice now for tattoos. Both have been amazing. They are very clean, knowledgeable, and kind. First time I had Noe who did an awesome job. He also did my boyfriend’s tattoo today! Second time I had Ram-he did a great job! He was very knowledgeable!! He steered me in the right direction with suggestions to make my tattoo last and look good long term. We chatted throughout the entire process and he is very kind and laid back. He is very patient and makes sure you are happy with placement, size, etc before beginning. I’ve been wanting this tattoo for a while and I’m so glad I finally got it done today with Ram! “My husband and I came here a couple of weeks ago and saw Jackie (@tattoojax on Instagram). We had such a great experience! Smart Ink is on the second floor of a strip mall, and it could be hard to find if you are not looking for it. It is also a bit confusing since it's on the second floor, but the stairs are connected to the cemented wall underneath the second-floor dentist sign. The first thing I noticed when walking into the tattoo studio was how clean and bright it was. Everything is sanitary, and no matter which tattoo artist you see, everyone is nice and will greet you when they see you. There is also a nice artsy vibe to the studio; the walls are filled with handmade art, and every artist's tattoo area has its own personality and aesthetic shining through. I love that everyone can create their own creative area because it makes the studio feel much more inviting. Sometimes, tattoo studios feel very cookie-cutter and edgy, but this place is different in a good way. My husband and I both got tattoos from Jackie, and she did an amazing job. She met with us on the front couches to make sure her final sketches worked with us. I wanted to change a part of mine, and she made the changes on her iPad in front of me before printing it out. Then, she wanted to make sure the placement and size worked with me before we started. Yes, these are basic tattoo artist jobs, but you'd be surprised how many tattoo artists skip steps. I got my tattoos before my husband did, but she took her time on both of us. She was extremely professional and made the experience enjoyable by being personable and talkative. The tattoos look AMAZING and are exactly what we wanted. We gave her some artistic freedom with colors and/or designs, and she did not make us regret it. We will 100% be back at this tattoo studio, and we will be sticking with Jackie for all of our tattoo needs and wants =)“

“Just got my doubles on my ear lobe and double cartilage piercings here and I'm so happy I chose this place. Everyone was super friendly and the place is really clean. I believe my piercers name was Anthony, I was kind of nervous so I forgot, but anyway he was super professional, knowledgeable, and explained every part of the process as well as detailed aftercare instructions and answered all of my questions. Will definitely come back for any other piercing needs!!“

“May be a simple piece, but Ceejay did an incredible job! Looks amazing and clean even during the healing process! I felt so welcomed here and everyone I spoke with/conversed with are so kind. Dusty and Anna were even kind enough to get me a smoothie, although dusty wouldn’t accept my money for it. Very kind people, will definitely be back for my next tattoo. “Just come here! If you’ve been debating back & forth where to get your piercing/nervous or jittery just come here. Debbie made me feel so comfortable for my nose piercing, talked me through the entire thing. You can tell she knows her stuff! Jon was kind, and willing to work with a piece that I had drawn for my husband. There were very fine line pieces that Jon captured perfectly, and he was also gracious in giving my husband a break when his arm got sore.This tattoo was very significant for us, so it was important for us to get this done right.Scheduling was a breeze, and the owner was courteous and willing to work with our schedule. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a clean, and professional tattoo experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.Side note, I was also very grateful they allowed me to watch The Golden Girls while I waited, lol.“

“Stopped in last Saturday. It was kind of a last-minute decision. Matt, the owner set me up with one of their artists-Clay. I’ve never had a tattoo before so this was my first. I have to say I’m very pleased with the outcome and I think I’ve got the bug! Clay seemed intent on doing a perfect job and that’s exactly what he did. “I had a tattoo done in Hawaii about 9 years ago. And as I was looking at it . It needed some updating. I had gone by there shop a few times but never went in. There was a group of us that wanted to get some artwork done. So I went to check it out and 4 1/2 hours later I came home with an update tattoo. Everyone was surprised and liked the artwork. My wife and daughter made their appointment that day. Darrell did my work and would highly recommend him. The gentleman that did my wife and daughters did great job too . My daughter and I are going to have a day out and have some more artwork done.“
