Brought in a Michael Kors backpack with straps that were way too long and the owner perfectly shortened the straps as if the bag came like that! It only took him 2 days to fix it! I am super satisfied with the results and I would definitely return for other repairs.
Decided to try them out after finding them on Yelp. Good cobblers are becoming increasingly difficult to come by. The shop is located around the corner in a strip mall, so not the easiest to find. Go all the way to the far left end of the mall and there are a few businesses located on the side. This is one of them. I had a leather belt that needed a couple of new holes punched in it. I was actually wearing the belt when I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped in to see if they could accommodate me. Mr Joo was friendly and I asked if he could help me out. He stopped the project he was working on and said "sure". No fuss, no muss! Great customer service and I can't wait to bring them more work!
I've been bringing my shoes to this repair shop for a few years and I love them! They are owned by a couple and they do both shoe repair and tailoring. The husband is the cobbler and does a fantastic job repairing my high heels. I find that my shoes last longer AFTER they've been repaired than when when they were new! I've brought in shoes with the metal exposed on the heels and he some how always makes them look brand new. I also have them add non-slip rubber soles on my shoes which make them last longer. I've brought in pants and skirts for tailoring and they do a fairly good job. They don't have a dressing room though so if you want to put on the garment for measuring you have to crouch behind the counter. The downside is that they open from 10-5pm Mondays-Fridays and don't have extended hours so I have a hard time getting to them after work. They are closed on Saturdays and only from 11-4pm on Sundays. They don't take credit cards so make sure you have cash! You can ask them if your shoes are worth repairing if they're really badly damaged. They're pretty honest about advising if the shoes should be repaired or tossed into the trash. Overall I think they do a fantastic job. The quality is almost worth the hassle of working around their short business hours.
