Downtown Cleaners is the BEST place in town! They take care of you like family.My significant other’s aunt passed away unexpectedly, and we had to buy him a suit from the Chicago Outlet Mall, and the pants needed hemming. I pinned the pants, and this was the second place I called, and the owner was so empathetic and accommodating. He helped us out in a pinch and had the pants hemmed quickly. We had other items that needed immediate dry cleaning, and he drove the items to their cleaning facility to get them cleaned and back in time for the wake.The owner and staff went above and beyond the call of duty. I needed a dress hemmed last minute for the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and the staff at Downtown Cleaners were able to do it for me on time. The length was perfect and the price was fair. The staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!Service: Clothing alterations & repairs

I took some bright colored and heavy embroidered/accessorized Indian clothes to be dry cleaned. The lady at the reception was very nice in explaining how they will clean the garments and how they will make sure the accessories or embroidery are not damaged. They took about a week to dry clean my garments and I was in no rush. The pricing was at-par with some other dry cleaners I have been to with my Indian clothes. I also went another time with my daughter's clothes for dry cleaning and they were very nice to say that dry cleaning is not going to help some of the clothes and would also be expensive and gave me suggestions to try at home to clean those garments which I thought was very nice of them. I'm going to go again, this time for alterations. Really happy I found this place!
