We had to replace our roof, as a result of a tree falling on our house. John Muehlebach came out to our house himself and put an emergency patch to cover the hole. He then helped us in our negotiations with the insurance company to make sure we would receive full replacement costs.The week our insurance money arrived, the expert crew from Muehlebach Roofing arrived and started the job. I was a little iffy about where I should go today, because last time I came here, I wasn't *all* that thrilled by the results. (It is worth mentioning I had been seen by a different barber than usual.) But I decided to anyways, and when I got there, I specifically waited for Sammie. Great results this time. She's plenty energetic enough to jump left to right to get things just right, goes over everything multiple times... very precise, and you can tell she has a lot of experience.

I needed a haircut, and since recently moving to the area, I decided to see if this little shop near where I live now would be a good place to go for regular haircuts.I was happily surprised.The owner, who has lived here in Decatur all his life, has many years of experience cutting hair and was very gentle as he did his job. I could tell his hand movements were sure and steady, and that he knew exactly what he was doing. When I looked in the mirror after he was done, my haircut was perfect. I had been paying over $50 in Chicago for a good haircut! Another thing I like about Decatur; how affordable things are here! My price was about $16 and I got a shampoo after the cut too!I look forward to coming back here as often as I need to and I urge you to try this little barber shop and keep them in business. Also, please tip the person who cuts your hair when you're happy with the way they cut it! People often don't realize that a tip for a haircut is highly appreciated and polite. It's somewhat rude to not tip. And I only say this because when I tipped him he seemed very surprised, like he didn't expect it. But he should! He's a virtuoso with those ✂️!

I was able to book my very first facial with Emily and she is very incredible at what she does! I did the express facial at first to see if I would enjoy it. She was very accommodating and asked about routine, gave skincare suggestions and was thorough about what and why the things she was doing.
The pumpkin enzyme treatment smells incredible and feels equally amazing.
The boutique itself is well set up with some clothing, makeup, and accessories and the hair salon seems to stay busy as well.

Good customer service from stylist. Wasn't overbooked, and wait was only about 10 minutes to get in the chair. I was actually 10 minutes late ?. Once Shariah started my hair, she didn't stop. She asked questions to be clear on the style I wanted as I requested a specific braided updo. It took just around 2 hours! I will be going back. Did I say I love my hair... I love my hair!

I got my ears pierced here a few weeks ago, I was nervous because my last experience with ear piercings was as a child with the piercing gun and it didn't go well.
ANYWAY, Autumn and the gent there (I'm sorry I don't recall his name but Blaze is also listed on their site so I think that was him) took really good care of me! Let me pick out my studs, sterilized the earrings in front of me, let me confirm where the earrings were actually going, and chatted with me the whole time. Sent me on my way with a bottle of piercing aftercare included!
I followed the instructions they gave me to keep the piercings clean and have had no issues! 10/10 will probably be back once these are fully healed and I muster the courage for another! But after this experience it will be a lot easier since I know they'll treat me right!

We had a 3 phase motor occasionally growling. Acting like the brake was on and motor trying to run. Very intermittent issue. When this issue occurred motor brake did have power to release brake. Bodine took motor back to Decatur and went thru motor. They replaced bearings and noticed the brake assembly was sitting crooked. They repaired this issue and has ran great ever since. Thanks again, Bodine!

Originally, I was going to rate the lighthouse electric at 3 due to hiccups along the way. However, after speaking with Owen, he resolved the problem and made it right. Therefore I am rating them. A 5 Andy was very professional and skillful. He completed the task at hand so yes, I would recommend lighthouse electric.

Aaron has been my "go to" handyman for at least 15 years. He first arrived at my home as the contractor from Lowe's to install front room windows. Now I have him on speed dial and he always calls me back promptly!! He has completed a myriad of projects including installing MANY more windows, bathroom remodel (while we gone, no less), doors, roof repairs, replacing ceiling tiles, ceiling fan installs and storm repair. Very informative. The conservation district being close to my home won't allow for them to treat our neighborhood. However I now know that they rake the area and send of specimens of ticks to test for various strains of Lyme disease and keep a look out for West Nile as well.

I was a patient of Long Creek dental for years. I recently had a cavity that was causing pain. They tried to grind on my teeth to adjust my bite, yet they ignored the obvious cavity. They made me wait 3 weeks before they could get me back in. I was excited to finally get my tooth fixed but all they did was clean my teeth and set an appointment 3 more weeks out to do the filling.
I called around and Dr Wolf was able to get me in 3 days later. I barely felt the needle when he numbed my gums. Next day I am eating Dairy Queen without lightning shooting through my head. He even came in about $50 less than quoted.
I won't go anywhere else!!

Northgate vet's are nice but i won't be using their service anymore. No one told me I had to register my pets myself at the city. Now i had a late fee because for whatever reason Northgate did not register my pet. All they could give me was a sorry when that's just not good enough.
Im updating my review because Becca( hope im spelling it right) called and made it right. This made me feel alot better that she rectified my situation and ensured training so this doesn't happen to anyone else. We are human. Sometimes mistakes are made, but her actions show that they not only care about our pets but us owners too. Thank you for making things right.

This was my second time at Amy's Massage. This time I had 1/2 reflexology and 1/2 massage. This was my first time ever having reflexology done and it was so affective for lowering my foot and back pain. I was glad I added the massage afterwards because that helped to lower my tension and reduced the pain in my lower back. I normally feel relaxed after a massage, but that feeling usually only remains for the day. I am still feeling the relaxing affects two days later. I think this must be related to the reflexology. The only negative I can say about Amy's Massage is the lack of open appointments. I am ready to book another one but there are very few appointments available. This speaks to the healing hands of the therapists in this office.
