My mom had hip surgery and Wishing Well Home Care was one of the local home care companies recommended in my mom's discharge packet. We met with representatives from about five companies and felt most comfortable with WWHC. We had never been in the market for a caregiver before and didn't even know what questions to ask. Peggy was very patient and a wealth of information during our initial meeting. She really knows her stuff! “As my father aged his main goal was to remain in his home as long as possible. In order to help satisfy his request we knew it was time for 24/7 in-home help. We reached out to Touching Hearts and met with John. John assured us that they would be partners in the process and that he would find the best possible match for us. I found that to be spot-on If the match did not fit or we had other concerns he would find a suitable replacement. Over the course of 2 years we did request a few changes. John provided an immediate response and a new caregiver was provided. In the time we worked with Touching Hearts we were never left uncovered if one of the caregivers was ill or had a conflict. Communication was quick and the replacement provided. We reached a point where staying in the home was no longer possible but the transition provided by Touching Hearts provided us with the opportunity keep our dad in his house a few more years. John, Jeff and Sharon are extremely approachable and invested in their clients.“

“I’ve worked for numerous contracting companies with the federal government and DHC has been the most professional of them all. Most project managers have little interaction with you, but the project manager for DHC was attentive and meet all of my requests.Their PTO policy is generous by giving you your pto at the beginning of the year instead of the end of the year. Also there was opportunities for overtime which is normally unheard of working for the government.“

“Having past experience with The Key caring for an elderly parent we called them when I unexpectedly needed some care following surgery. An excellent decision! Nancy and Gail took the time to explain options and respond quickly to what became a changing situation. The home health aides were all pleasant, competent, and respectful. They offered assistance as needed, and made the experience of being dependent less difficult. In particular Sophie went above and beyond to help identify solutions to problems, write up a care plan, and made getting help with bathing and personal care pleasant rather than embarrassing.“

“My mother's health had been declining rapidly and was unable to take care of herself, and I didn't live anywhere near her. The doctors recommended a nursing home, but she refused and wanted to stay at home. Making the best out of bad situation, I arranged to have 24/7 at-home care. I feel like I chose correctly when I picked Nancy's home care. Nothing is ever perfect, but the team they assembled exceeded my expectations, and I knew that could have been rough based on my mother's personality and my distance.I felt my mother was well taken care of, the caregivers showed my Mom real affection, and treated her like family. I can't praise her caregivers enough for doing so much for my Mom and letting her live out her remaining days as she chose.“

“Im in a mobility devuce...a scooter...and the halleats and doorways were way too nsrrow. I had great difficulty maneuverung around and getting into exam rooms. The layout is very handicap unfriendly and there are no power doors. The ekevator eas also a bit difficult because the shape of the elevator had the long side perpendicular to the entry, so i had to turn into it unstead if just pulling firward. Many disabled folk have diffuculty twisting making backing up a blind maneuver. If i could pull in straight and back up straught, that would be much easier that having to back up while turning.“
