Golden Blades Barber Shop

Saw a post about this barbershop on an autism page on fb and decided to try them out. My son is usually real tense during his haircuts and fidgets and holds his ears but he slowly relaxed with the vibe of the shop. The artwork (which is super dope)on the walls was a great distraction for my son. Pedro who did my sons haircut, he was very patient and friendly talked me through my sons haircut and how he would continue with his haircuts going forward which I really appreciated. Thank you again and we’ll be back for his picture day haircut

Way over due review. Took my son to get a haircut the day before school and from the moment we walked in the vibe was so welcoming. Antonio took care of my 5 year old son with Autism and he was so patient and never once did he seem frustrated or seemed to be rushing my son. And mind you my son was never fully still. I am so happy to have found this place, a little distance from my home but will be worth the extra minutes drive because of the service they provide! My son is 3 years and has Autism. I passed by the shop and seen the “Autism friendly””sign that caught my attention so I decided to give them a try. (I have never seen a sign like that so I was happy) I was very pleased with the service . The barber was very patient and gentle with my son . Even though my son was giving him a hard time he did a very good job. He gave my son the cut we wanted. I will definitely be going back to Golden Blades Barber shop.
