So happy to have found Salon Rouge! I’ve tried a different salon in Chicago for every haircut I’ve gotten over the past 5 years. My search for a new salon ends here and I definitely will be returning! Ethan did an amazing job and made my hair look and feel so healthy. He was friendly, quick, and efficient. Thank goodness for Ethan! Because my family is immunocompromised I have put off getting my hair cut for the last three years! It was driving me crazy. Once I felt comfortable enough to get a hair cut I headed back to Ethan because I knew he'd give me exactly the cut I wanted. He cut off a 14 inch pony tail and told me I could donate it to Locks of Love which is awesome and makes me feel good about being able to give back after dealing with all that hair for so long. My mom is a cancer patient so I'm very happy to help kids dealing with cancer. Ethan also cuts my grown son's hair. I had an awesome experience with Ethan!Been meaning to come to this local salon and it did not disappoint. For a stylist, I look for three things: 1) it’s gotta look good, 2) there has to be some attempt to tame my cowlick, and 3) the right amount of conversation mixed in without turning into a multi hour affair.Ethan was absolutely fantastic on all three fronts and he walked me through cut decisions that I was obviously wrong on.I will go back.
