My first experience in March 2025 was great so I would give them ? ? ? ? four stars.
I got my color touched up and shampooed by a student and the shampoo guy who was also a student was awesome!
My locs were retwisted and although I was there for six long hours I was satisfied with the results and my loc mx lasted thanks to Jemell.
My second time receiving services was on Friday the 13th, and I had a horrible experience!
I am a graduate of YSBC. First I would like to say that I passed my state board on the first try. It was very beneficial that we were allowed to stay later on some days for additional help. This alone made the students feel more confident to go take our state board. Ms. P is a very intelligent instructor that showed us how to retain the information as well ass apply that information on the floor. All and all I had a wonderful experience as long as you were willing to understand the concepts you will be just fine !
This school should be a Chicago landmark. They've always taken the best care of me and my friends. & I couldn't say enough about the lovely Ms. Panache, her beautiful Grandmother, the founder, and all of the excellent students here. Your gonna love it!
