I have never had someone more attentive to my needs or compassionate about a treatment like I have with Heidi. It's not just that she is able to listen to all aspects of my condition and look for the root of the problem, but also her ability to sympathize with the condition to make you feel like you are not alone in the pain. Another added bonus is her ability to pair your treatment with every day changes that should aid in recovery - diet, exercise, herbs, etc. She also has a way to go beyond acupuncture into other aids, such as cupping and something involving a ceramic spoon that feels odd at first but great on the muscles afterwards. Several weeks ago I came into knowledge that left my body bedridden for 2 days. I felt like a steamroller had smashed me. I've been doing the spiritual work to pick my soul up and amazing body / light work with my acupuncturist Heidi Shimko .Lots of all types of emotions moving through me. For months before my body had already shut down. Opening my heart chakra during sun salutations felt unsafe. ,sleeping was painful. Heidi is amazing. She is as warm as she is knowledgeable. I truly look forward to our sessions. She caters each appointment to where I am at on my fertility journey. I always feel heard and greatly cared for. What a gem! Highly recommend
