Fantastic hair stylist. Very kind and makes great conversation. Gives great hair tips and advice on how to keep your hair maintained. I have longer hair than most guys and I struggled to tame the beast. With just a few tips I've been able to manage it better. She is also great at listening to what your needs are. I personally like my hair as long as possible. She didn't chop off everything and called it done, she slowly trimmed and chopped and allowed me to make the final call.

I found Emily after moving to Chicago and using a random barber for my first haircut here. He messed me up... and Emily saved me! In every way that a person can be saved. No really though she fixed his mistake and gave me an awesome haircut. I will go to no one else in this city except Emily! She is cool, down to earth, and most importantly awesome at what she does. 5+ stars!

I've been seeing Emily for almost two years, and can't imagine anyone else cutting my hair, and I know my partner feels the same. Emily's skills are unique because she has the expertise of a barber, so she gives a crazy good fade, but saves me, as a gay man, from the often hyper-masculine, hard to navigate barbershop scene which I've never been comfortable with. I have also found male barbers hard to talk to, or difficult to express my haircut needs to, and Emily's kind and open nature is a breath of fresh air in that regard. Tl:dr: Emily's awesome; go see her!
