I have visited Dr. Shimmel regarding an issue that affected my ability to walk. She has significantly contributed to my overall well-being assisting my body's ability to heal naturally. I believe the body can heal itself with the assistance of alternative medicine and acupuncture has been immensely effective in balancing my vital energy to promote my healing process. Dr. Amie has been working with me on my healing for almost two years. Her understanding of the human body and spirit is beyond all other Acupuncturists I have seen before. She relates to my physical discomforts at various different levels making me feel safe and in good hands.very holistic...During Covid I have observed how seriously she adheres to CDC guidelines taking it the extra mile to disinfect EVERYTHING in between patients, which makes me feel very comfortable at our sessions.
