My artists, Jenna and Milian, at Blush and Braids were simply incredible. I truly have no feedback beyond a glowing review. They made all four of us getting hair and makeup services feel confident and beautiful. Moreover, Jenna went above the call of duty to cover some scarring on my upper arm from a recent shingles outbreak I had leading up to the wedding. Milian’s bridal updo was sleek and elegant, and exactly what I wanted for my look. It also stayed PERFECTLY snatched into place for almost 48 hours!
Jenna and Milian are true artists and I cannot thank them both enough. I know any bride would feel so beautiful, safe, and cared for in their chairs!
Sumayyah from Blush & Braids did hair and make-up for me + my mom, sister, and best friend on 9/9, and we couldn't have been more thrilled! The whole process was extremely organized, and we were all so impressed by Sumayyah's range and skill. She gave my sister beachy mermaid waves, my friend Pricilla Presley '60s glam, and my mom—who was new to all of this—LOVED her natural look. Sumayyah was patient and skilled at helping me figure out what I *thought* I wanted at the trial vs. what I decided to go with for the wedding (pink! dewy! glowy!), and I got so many compliments throughout the night. I am absolutely pleased with the makeup service my mother and I received from Yaricza. She was on time, very pleasant and patient with us. My 83 year old mother and I did not know exactly how to articulate how we wanted our makeup done for my daughter’s wedding. We just knew we wanted something simple and natural looking. We’re not used to wearing makeup so we wanted something light but nice enough for pictures. Yaricza understood what we wanted and executed it perfectly. I felt very comfortable with the make up all evening.
