My last exam was not comprehensive and thorough; more specifically, the optometrist asked me whether I needed the prescription to be adjusted compared to my previous visit. How should I know?
terrible, absolutely terrible. it took me a whole semester and longer (16+ weeks) to get contacts. Id you're a college student they will take advantage of you and your time and your money. when they make a mistake they blame it on the manufacturer and they do not keep track if the orders for your contacts have been processed. Very very disorganize, told me i needed a trial pair of contacts that i've been wearing my whole life and when i came back for the check up for the trial pair the doctor was confused why i was back.
Update: I got a call from the Doctor of Jones who told me how he did not like how I talked to his staff and threatening a review. He kept telling me to stop talking. I told him I did not yell at his staff. I talked in a calm manner the whole time. They may not like that I was not accepting their answers, but then get out of customer service; that's the gig, but working for a doctor who has no customer and calls to chastise you, what do you expect. American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends that low-risk adults between 18 and 64 have a comprehensive eye exam every two years. I fit in this low risk category, Jones Optical refused to send my prescription, stating it was expired, even though it was only 1 year and a month old, stating all private practices do this. Well I don't know about you, but I am tired of these places doing it just because they can. Jones has shown me the care about their pocket book more than the consumer. It also unprofessional to be laughed at on the phone because I let them know I was unhappy, in a nice professional tone, and I was going to put it on the reviews.
