UPDATE: After keeping my appointment and meeting with the accountant we were referred to, I knew I had to change my review. The service was excellent. The accountant was friendly and very knowledgeable and did her best to get us every tax brake possible. I even referred her to my mom and she also had a very positive experience. I would give them 5 stars but I'm taking my first interaction detailed below into account. After being referred to this firm, I called in to ask for an estimate to file a tax return and schedule an appointment. The woman who initially answered the phone was very rude. When I asked for a quote to file, she replied in a very aggravated and condescending tone that she couldn't give me one because I would need to schedule an appointment. I then replied by stating that it wouldn't make sense for me to schedule an appointment if I didn't have some idea of what I was getting myself into. My interaction with her ended very subtly because as soon as I was done replying, another woman got on the phone. The first woman who answered didn't even tell me she was going to pass the phone to someone else. I just asked one question and felt like she couldn't be bothered to answer a simple question. The second woman was kind-- very professional and was able to take care of me. I scheduled an appointment with the second woman but I'm not sure I'm going to keep it because of the first impression I got.
