What can I say? An absolute gem of a hair studio. The rustic ambiance draws you into a human experience: you are NOT a number here. I get my hair cut by Daniel B and I couldn’t recommend him more to young professionals in Bloomington Normal. When I leave Strand Studio, I look great and feel great. I always leave thoroughly encouraged by the conversations and the fair prices. 5/5 stars without any hesitation.

Just got a GREAT barber cut and beard trim by Dan here on Wednesday! Great Barber, always top notch service and the freshest of cuts! Highly recommend this shop! Great location and atmosphere! Great parking and easy access as well. 11/10 ! Dans my barber for life :)

Bloomington consider yourself lucky that you have Mary!! She was my go to for 12 years in Chicago and I miss her very much! She does excellent work, listens to what you want, and really gets to know your hair and what will work best for you. Aside from all that she’s probably the nicest person you’ll ever meet. You are in good, actually great, hands with Mary.
