“After purchasing our home about a year ago, we were ready to start changing some of the interior colours in an assortment of rooms. While talking to a neighbour/ friend she recommended Derek and his team to take the best care of our painting needs. She had just had paint work done with them and was extremely satisfied with their workmanship. I was able to secure a visit and quote within the same week. Derek has an incredible eye for details and was able to point out some bends and creases in the walls and corners that I never paid attention to. He explained that these items were fixed as part of their services.Since we were satisfied with the quote amount (very reasonable), we went ahead and booked them in. Within about a week, they were ready and starting to paint!! They started by carefully covering all the floors, staircases and banisters with paint sheets.After the first day, I realized I hated the colour. Even after testing in each room, over days and nights..it just wasn’t right. It was incredibly upsetting for me to think I would have to live with this terrible colour. I called Derek the next day, and after reassuring me, he came to help choose an alternate colour and this time we got it right. Overton Renovations saved the day!(Just a suggestion, instead of only test painting a small spot, do as much as you can along a wall. It really can show differently) The crew quickly refocused their efforts and continued the work. It only took them a few hours more with the changed colour.Each day that they were working, they did a full take down of all the protective coverings, clean up of the rooms and floors! That extra step really makes them stand out from the rest.If you are looking for a top notch professional, detail oriented, well priced, attentive company that goes above and beyond-look no further.
