“I used this emergency room 6 or 7 times over the last few years. I have always been grateful and impressed that I can have my pups looked at on an emergent basis 24/7. I read some of the other comments about this place "being expensive". I wonder what they are comparing? We have never been there at a regular hour. So yes, there are staffing costs. I understand the emergency room initial cost. Again, overhead. This week, one of our littles had an eyeball issue. The overnight surgical staff took care of her and a few hours later I received a call from the surgeon at 4 am giving me an update that everything was fine. Expensive? I thought the surgical fees were reasonable. I think people don't realize the cost of routine pet care in general. Everything is expensive. But relative to the care provided at this hospital, no it isn't expensive.“
