This is my first Yelp review. I normally do my review on Google, but it just dawned on me that more people may see this on Yelp. I prefer to do reviews for great service given. And, hopefully, after this, I will be able to do so. So, here is what happened with TaxNet Financial after applying for a Refund Anticipation Loan and was denied. Being denied was not the problem. The following will explain why nobody should use them. I'm feeling super unstable at the moment. I want to warn every single one of you here in America to not use tax net financial. Not only will they deny you a refund anticipation loan, but they will also charge you for giving you a refund anticipation loan even though they didn't give it to you. Not only that, I live in Oklahoma. We all know what Oklahoma is, right? It is Indian territory. My great great grandparents came over the trail of tears. Maybe not enough greats in there, but I didn't want to count that far. This jerk who calls himself Chris and says he has been a manager with tax net financial for 15 years called me a racist and would refuse to talk to me if I used such slurs for saying I was going to the Indian clinic. I told him I am a card carrying native American. And I am. If anybody wants to see my card, I will be happy to show you. I was born in, and live in, Oklahoma, which, as we all know, is Indian Territory. Here, many of us go to the "Indian" clinic". That was just the final conversation. This was just a minor part and the end of, (well, just the last words said) the crud that they put us through. Do not use tax net. They don't give the loans, they will charge you for the loans, they will lie to you, and not only will they call you unstable but they will also be racist towards you. I don't think I've ever actually experienced racism myself in my life. I am getting a civil attorney. I am so done with corporate imitators thinking that they know more than the average citizen. And they still owe me $541. We were supposed to get back $1474. Their sight says they do charge a $75 filing fee, which I don't understand, as I am the one that actually did the work, but okay. If you are approved for the loan, they then deduct another $450 for that. However, They denied us the loan. And we still do not know why. They said they sent an email explaining why. It is nowhere in my inbox. Once again, a lie. And, "Manager Chris" did say he would give us a discount on the $75. We got our refund in the bank the next morning. $933!!!! Not only did they take the money out for a loan we never received, they also overcharged us for their "filing fee". $75 turned into $91!!!! Over one third of our refund went into their pockets. I hope none of you fall victim to these white collar scam artist. TurboTax is free and it is faster. I do hope my next review is because the service provided was as helpful and nice as this company SHOULD have been. Good luck this tax season. And look around before you fall victim to the wrong people.
