Gloria is very talented at braiding hair. She opens at 8:30 am,but she accommodated me and let me come at 7:30am. .her hair styles last up to 3 months and she made my braids look very neat. I would highly recommend her services.Service: Box Braids

I've got my hair done here once and it was really a nice job however my second attempt to get my hair braided was a nightmare. I made a 9 am appointment with her. she calls me at 7 am on the day of and asked me to come in earlier. I got there at 7:30 am. when I get there she had someone sitting in the chair and she tells me that I could go back home and come back at 8am. Ok , strike number 1. she tells me "oh,I'll be done in 15 minutes" . 2 hours later... I'm still waiting. At this point, I'm feeling some kind of way. I'm feeling disregarded. I have seen gestures where it was obvious that the black dollar was not respected. we pay them so much money only for them to speak their language in their shops over our heads, take breaks, even eating over my shoulders without washing theirs before braiding my hair. Anyway back to this horrible encounter that I experienced .I decided to leave and this lady chased me out of the door explaining to meThat she was almost finished .never mind that she had actually called me to leave my place hour and a half early to come sit in a chair only for her to take an additional two hours . I decided to leave.once I pulled off this lady called me over 10 times even cursed me out. It was at that time that I realized these people have no respect or value for Black people or the black dollar in the community. Now I won't label all African shops however this place taught me a huge lesson!!! Stay away from this place this lady will smile at you until she gets you in her chair and starts working the minute you decide to reconsider... trust she will curse you out real good.
