I am fairly new to the Bartlett area, having moved here less than 6 months ago from the city, and I have been searching for a solid, no frills, barber shop since I've been here. Let me tell you that after being to 3 or 4 other shops (including old school barbers, certain "chain" barbers, and also the salon scene) VIP is the best in the area. Annie is great, she knows exactly what she is doing, gives you a great cut, and leaves out all of the other BS you get from other places (overselling product, shampoos, massages, etc). Most importantly, she knows how to give a good cut. She understands the art of cutting hair and even taught me a few things about where the natural part in my hair is as well as what proportions the length needs to be. I'll also make note that she does take a lunch break everyday at 11:15A but she was kind enough to squeeze me in after walking in just a few minutes before her break. If you are looking for a no frills barber that knows how to cut hair at a fair price, VIP is a great option. Also be aware that this is a CASH ONLY place but there are banks and ATMs in the area so it wasn't a big deal for me (it's fair because they clearly advertise this on their website and even have signs posted in the shop). I'll definitely be going back and would recommend them to my friends.

A classic place for a man to get a hair cut. Recently moved from the spot they were at for 40 years, the new location is spacious and modernized. Ann does an outstanding job and certainly knows her stuff. She is a master when in comes to barbering. Great place, great price

My barber of 25 years retired and moved to florida. I had not had a haircut in three months. I found VIP on yelp and decided to give them a try. My rating says it all. Just what I was looking for, a straightforward no BS haircut. Like my old barber, NO APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED. Just walk in, chill for a bit and get a cut. I'll be going back again. Cheers!
