“I appreciate Dr Kubicki. I followed him from his office in McHenry where he had taken over Dr Fontana's practice. He took time with me as I am a diabetic. I chose new glasses which after insurance was nearly $500. I assumed I could pay 50% immediately and the balance when I picked up my new glasses. This has been the standard for 55 years that I have had glasses so imagine my surprise when I was told that the full amount had to be paid up front! Though I understand that Dr Kubicki now works for a corporation, I am very disappointed.“

I lost a pair of glasses, so I wanted to get my new prescription into an older pair of glasses( bought at Sears but they are gone). A different optical store wanted to charge me $150 for a whole new pair.They wouldn't put them in old glasses and it was only one eye that needed changing! Rita said no problem and the charge was very reasonable. I enjoyed chatting with her and was delighted at the service. I will go there for my glasses next time.“
