We just completed a gut rehab of our master bathroom in our condo. We called one of the quick shower replacement places and got right down to signing the contract when the price went up and the brand names all changed to off-brand names; we didn’t sign the contract. We stopped by Insignia in Barrington and met with one of their designers, Sheryl Wardlow. Sheryl was a complete professional from start to finish, knowledgeable in all aspects of design and construction. She came out to our condo, got a feel for our “taste/style” and took measurements. At our next meeting, she gave us 3 different price options along with 10 different “style” options for starters. After deciding on a style and signing a contract, we were supplied with color renderings and blue prints, along with an exact schedule of when things were going to happen. We were introduced to Ethan who was the overall project manager, and Matt who was our day to day project manager contact. Matt kept us informed every step of the way, and very easy to work with. Measurements were taken an additional two (2) times for accuracy. On day one of construction (demo day) heavy runners were laid on our wood floor from the front door to the bathroom, and they stayed there until all construction was completed. Tradesmen were always prompt, neat and cleaned up every evening before leaving. Their work was impeccable. When it came to the final inspection and punch list, we couldn’t come up with a single item or issues that needed attention. From Sheryl’s design, Matt’s oversight and the tradesmen’s expertise, we completely converted a bathroom with a tub to a bathroom with a new floor, cabinets, counter top, mirror, lights, fixtures and an incredible walk in shower. We had a wonderful experience with Insignia! Sheryl Wardlow designed our bathroom! Will be using Insignia again for our Master Bath and Kitchen in the near future!
