One day last year while exercising at the gym, I suddenly felt an intense pain along one of my legs. I went to see chiropractor Arnetra Gilliam and learned that the pain was produced by spondylolysis or a fracture in the lower lumbar vertebrae. Spondylolysis is a common injury in athletes. Dr. Gilliam helped alleviate my initial pain and, explaining that I needed to strengthen my middle section, referred me to Marcos Lushpynskyj. Marcos' therapy and recommended exercises completed my healing. I had also been afraid I would never be able to weight-train again. But Marcos' holistic approach and experience with corrective and high performance exercises made me trust he could help me improve my physical condition in a safe way. Through some private sessions he helped me develop an excellent program that allows me to workout both at home and at the gym. Throughout this process he was always very personable, accommodating and responsive to my needs and concerns. Because of this, I highly recommend Marcos as a therapist or physical trainer.
I started training with Marcos over 5 years ago and he has proven time and time again that he is a top notch health practitioner. If you are wondering why you should choose Marcos over the other trainers out there here are a few reasons: 1) He is incredibly versatile in his knowledge. He's not just a personal trainer but a life and wellness coach. He can help with nutrition, health, fitness, lifestyle -- he does it all. He will develop a program for you that address all aspects of your life to get you into peak condition. 2) His style is very partnership oriented. He finds out what you need, what your strengths and weaknesses are, and what style of training you like. He'll push you hard, but do so in a way that feels encouraging and positive, rather than the drill sergeant type personality. 3) Marcos is truly passionate about his work. This isn't just a job for him but a true passion. Since I've known him he's gone back to school countless times and obtained more certifications to continue to grow his knowledge and develop his skills. When I came to Marcos I had a lot of joint pain and was hardly able to workout at all. Now I'm pain free and able to do tough workouts. He's truly changed my life and he will do so for you as well!
Marcos Lushpynskyj, Holistic Health Practitioner, truly fulfills his mission "to aspire growth of the mind, body and spirit by holistic and osteopathic principles. My health has been compromised by two bouts of cancer resulting in bone, joint and soft tissue issues. Marcos treats me with a variety of massage techniques supplemented with education on optimal exercise options and nutritional suggestions. I think Marcos' greatest gift is his intuitive understanding of the most appropriate massage techniques for each of my injured and healing issues. He is an excellent listener and communicator. I recommend Marcos without hesitation or reservation.
