Just picked up my first pair of glasses from here and wow, they got them right! I have a -10 lense w bifocal needs and finding a place that gets the progressive lens lined up correctly has been crazy. I’m so pleased w Antioch Eye Assoc. From the moment I called, to walking in the door, to the eye exam and being fitted for glasses and contacts, I felt heard and welcomed. Excellent service!!!I had a problem with wasps swarming around my porch trying to nest. I called Bugs Be Gone, and they came out within a couple of days. We rented a pontoon last minute - called at 5:01pm the day before as a hail mary and Tim called back and helped us rent for the next morning for our group of 11. The folks there were super super helpful, Tim even leant us his cooler since we were visiting and didn't have one. Great day on the lakes :)
Our experience with OTC was outstanding. We booked a 6 hour rental on a Thursday to celebrate my husbands birthday on the water with friends and the day was perfect. My kids and I LOVE Elevate Dance Studio! The teachers are amazing, dedicated, encouraging and so creative. The environment of the studio is extremely welcoming, inclusive and family friendly.We came to Elevate just over a year ago and during this time my kids have learned/grown so much as dancers, have gained so much confidence and we have all created so many friendships. Prior to coming to Elevate, 2 (1 boy and 1 girl) of my 3 kids were enrolled in dance classes. After their first class at Elevate they were asking for more and my oldest asked me to sign him up as well! We all look forward to the nights they have dance class.I recommend this dance studio to anyone! They have classes for toddlers all the way though adults! They really have something for everyone!

You cannot go wrong with going to either Katlynn or Joanna for a cut! I go to both of them (pending schedules) and have always been so pleased! They are experts in their craft. Really tempted to color my hair soon but haven’t gone that route yet but I’ve seen their work and it’s admirable. So glad I found this salon when moving to Antioch!
Was surprised to see there was a Great Clips so close to where I live as is been going to the one in Kenosha (by Kohl's). Every time that I call the Kenosha salon for a stylist that I like's schedule, they've either quit or are at a salon in Milwaukee.
When I found the one in Antioch, I ran over to check it out and see if I could get a haircut. I was surprised to see so many stylists! As I was there right when they opened, I was able to get right in with Hannah. Hannah read the old notes from Kenosha, and we discussed my cowlicks that can make my life hell. Hannah listened and did an EXCELLENT job cutting my hair, cowlicks, and all! I will definitely be going back to this store!
Per Hannah, this location is very busy! Always check in on the app so you're in line while heading over, otherwise you'll be waiting a while. I got lucky this past Sunday by being there right when they opened.

This is an excellent salon with highly skilled stylists! Cassie does my hair and I always leave getting what I came for and more. Shundell does my 16-year-old daughter's hair and does an expert job. Both are friendly, kind and professional. Their salon is bright, cheerful and spotless and they sell awesome hair products. This is a top-notch woman owned business that I'd highly recommend.

Pete was great. I called him on a Saturday about a leaky outside spiket. It was leaking into my basement and we have horses also. I had no choice but to shut off water. Then had to go to neighbors to borrow water trough. Pete called me back about 90 minutes later and was all over thst repair. Put in new spiket and a shut off valve on the line so next time I can just kill the water only to the spiket and not the whole house. Pete was done quickly only cut open a minimal whole in the sheet rock and the hole was perfectly square instead of triangular or some weird shape in the wall. Nice work Pete,your the dude.

The filter on my smart toilet needed to be cleaned for general toilet maintenance. When I tried to access the filter myself, I discovered that I didn’t have the proper sized screwdriver that would allow me to remove the filter on my own. I had to call a plumber for help. Max and Scott from Wally Blanton Plumbing were nice, honest, and direct, and helped me understand the nuances of my smart toilet. They fixed it and my bathroom sink, which had a slow drain. I will call them again without hesitation.

On a Sunday night (9:15) my downstairs toilet overflowed. After snaking it for 30 minutes with no positive results I turned off the water and started calling emergency plumbing companies. On my 4th attempt I got a live person at Windy City. They were here by 11pm to assess the situation. My septic was backed up. The main water was shut off. Bobby called the office and made arrangements for fixing the problem on Monday. A septic company was out the next day to pump the septic. The owner (Max) and crew were out to determine a resolution. They found the problems and expedited the repairs. The entire team was very professional, informative and respectful. I've never heard of this company, living 90 minutes away, but the entire experience with them was unbelievably positive. From the service crew to my interaction with the office staff was superb. Early on a Saturday morning, we discovered that our sewer had backed-up with raw sewage coming up the drain into our laundry room in the basement. Called our regular plumber and he recommended Tangney & Sons Plumbing & Sewers as his "go-to" resource for this type of work. I called and Joyce took my call, saying to sit tight and she'd get someone out to our home ASAP. She then called me back about 15 minutes later and said her technician would be calling me shortly. Shannon called and told me he'd be at our home between noon and 2:00pm and he showed-up right at noon ... ON A SATURDAY! He rotted-out our sewer drain, both towards the house and towards the street and we were back in business. Awesome job, awesome response, and fair pricing too.

Waldron Construction did an incredible job with the renovation/remodel of our kitchen and first floor. They performed a full gutting of the kitchen, which involved taking a closed 90's-era design and opening it up greatly, including the design of a beautiful kitchen island that maintained ADA-compliance in a challenging space, movement of ventilation to allow for much larger pantry space, and easily some of the most beautiful cabinetry I have ever seen - floor to ceiling wood grains that stun and delight our guests today.
As you likely can guess, this was a much higher end project than is the norm in this area. The tiles, finishes, and appliances we used were all high-end (Fireclay tile, custom cabinetry and trim, Miele appliances). Execution was crucial. And yet, from the cabinetry hugging the appliances perfectly, the 10" custom fresh air ventilation for our 1000 CFM range hood, to an incredible floor reconditioning effort, to the quartz countertops and the custom waterfall around a supporting post, the entire space looks and feels high-end - elevating the entirety of the living experience as a result.
Finally, I cannot sing enough praise for Angie Caton our designer. She worked tirelessly, diligently on multiple schemes and designs that helped us overcome significant design constraints to orchestrate the pieces required for an incredible result.
Waldron Construction will earn much more business from us in the future as we continue to upgrade our house top to bottom. They deserve the opportunity to earn your business as well.

Our family has been so happy with the lawn and weedwacking service of Tognarelli Lawn Care. Pete and his crew are hard working and a pleasure to do business with. We will use their services as long as they are in business. We have always done all the property needs here. Due to a family emergency, we could not keep up with it. So I wanted to stay locally to a small business. I called 9 businesses in IL and just over the WIS line. Pete called me back and we set apt and he came out we walked and talked about property and our needs here. . The next Monday became our day. It had rained so much, just a wet spring and early summer. Every time the crew came, most was underwater. They would do what ever they could. They always do a great job. Our mower completely done, no fixing it .. We still have the lawn service. Trust me, They are a great dentist office! Let me say this, Dr. Dan Boarini is an amazing dentist and such a genuine person. I am disabled and was in dire need of 2 root canals, and full upper and lower partials due to severe teeth issues my whole life. Dr. Dan not only got me out of pain, but he also got my smile back. And what's even more amazing than that, I went through the Illinois Donated Dental Lifeline Services group for people who are disabled and unable to afford proper dental care. Ms. Lisa who works for the Donated Dental Services reached out to 7-10 dentist in the McHenry county area and no-one wanted to help. Dr. Dan donated his dental services to me for free. He is a truly amazing person. I can't thank him enough for all that he has done for me and continues to do. So let me say this, if you need help? If you have dental issues and fear the dentist office? Go see this place. The staff up front, the Hygienist, the assistants, everyone especially Dr. Dan, are truly amazing, welcoming and kind people. Don't hesitate and if your reading this review, don't let any non-positive reviews steer you away from a great dentistry office. Trust me, they restored my self confidence. I love these people. i have been going to Redwing Dental for over a year. I have not had any issues with care, communication, or treatments. After seeing several other dental offices i finally found one that i feel good about going to.

My little dog is a rescue and she is very skittish, but she was completely calm with the Dr. He is incredibly caring and has a gentle calming demeanor. He was born to be a veterinarian! I love Lakes. We did have to wait a couple hours to be seen, but it was totally worth it.
I am always satisfied visiting with Dr. Garvey. She takes such care to ensure my dog feels safe and cared for and goes above and beyond to provide advice and support. The vet techs are super nice and answer questions as well and are always willing to help. I’ve brought all of my dogs to Dr. Garvey over the years and will continue to do so! She’s the best.

I am eligible for a shoulder replacement and my knees are heading there too. I usually get deep-tissue massages in Chicago, but I decided to give Healing Hands of Antioch a try since I live in Salem, WI and Chicago. Wow. I am so glad I did. I am so glad I did not drive to Chicago as I had intended to get relief. HHA did a perfect job of balancing walking on my back and legs with more traditional massage using hands etc. The masseuse also struck the perfect balance between dry and wet (oil) massage. She did a perfect job. I will definitely be back, and it is great having this quality of service available in Northeastern Illinois.
