My husband has been waiting for 6 hours to be seen and others who have arrived after us are still waiting as well. When you ask what the hold up is all you get is rude answers. I have lived here all my life and always came here and never had this problem. I know I won't ever come back here. It's a pathetic place now. Please save yourself aggrevation and go elsewhere.
This will be my first EVER BAD Review that I'm posting so please listen world! My Father is 90 years old, just had a procedure last Thursday that wasn't Successful! He just got Diagnosed with Cancer and we had to be at the ER for 10 hrs REALLY REALLY! And you say your buisness gives EXCELLENT Service, REALLY REALLY! As a Retired Marine I just also Retired from the VA Hospital and even the VA is Rated higher than 2 Stars! There's No URGENCY with the Staff at all, really Passive non aggressive attitudes like there's 48hrs in the day! Therefore you would get no Stars from me, the only reason you got one is because it wouldn't let me submit my Review without one Star! And I'll be talking to the Mayor of Alton about the lack of URGENCY this place has for 90 year old Patients! I'm TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTED at the Fact they think this place is EXCELLENT, are you Joking?
if you have an emergency, don't come here. they'll leave you to sit and rot in the waiting room. i've been here for three hours and i haven't even been called back to triage. there's tweakers running around the waiting room and no sense of urgency at all here. if i was having a stroke or heart attack, i'd be dead on the floor of the waiting room. the SLOWEST "emergency room" i've ever been in. don't even bother with this place, just go to st anthony's.
