I had a BIG little job — utility room floor - moving washer and dryer - working around furnace and water heater - embarrassed to say I believe the floor was likely the original mess left over from the builder (70 years ago??). Reached out to several recommended contractors. Matt at floor 4 u responded to inquiries promptly. Came out and looked at the job - gave me a reasonable price. He and his crew showed up on time - began and finished the job in one day - did a beautiful professional job - listened to our input and met our every expectation. Highly recommend. “I can't recommend Keen Construction enough... I needed to move walls & doors to create a larger primary bedroom closet with W/D hookup from 3 smaller closets (prior to moving into our new house). I'm skeptical of choosing a company off the internet so I read all of the reviews I could find about Keen Construction and chose them because there were NO bad reviews (not even one I could find).We met the next day (THU) at the house to discuss details so Darren could provide an estimate which arrived via email later that day. I was waiting until Monday to contact Darren and tell him we wanted to move forward with the project but Darren reached out that Sunday that they could start the project THE NEXT DAY since we didn't require any permits, etc. We didn't have time to clear out the 3 closets so Darren and Mark did it for us on Monday.I'm still amazed at how smoothly everything went and how quickly they were able to complete the project. After taping and skimming the closet and 2 rooms (where doors/walls were moved), I had them paint the closet and leave the 2 rooms unpainted since we haven't yet decided on our colors - getting a refund for that work. The great thing is that the rooms require no prep and we can simply paint them as soon as we make our decision.I will definitely be calling Darren for our other construction projects AFTER we move in... I chatted with Mark one day during construction about our upcoming needs and am very excited that I will NOT need to search the internet and "take my chances" in the future. If you are searching for a contractor, please (at a minimum) let Darren provide an estimate!!“

We put down new oak flooring in the kitchen and expected to be able to see the transition just because old wood is different from new wood but we can’t see it at all. My husband is a builder and our standards are high. Will use him again!“

“My wife and I are both seniors and though we wanted new carpeting, we knew we weren’t able to move furniture by ourselves. So we went shopping for carpet with stipulation that installers would move and return everything to its place. Key carpet quoted us the best price, thousands less than other quotes. We were a little worried and skeptical of the lower quote but decided to go with it. We took samples of the carpet we bought to other vendors to compare and were assured that it was very good quality. That made us more confident of the decision. Installation day came and we just sat while installers did all the heavy moving and installing. It took them the whole day to complete the job and they worked their butts off. They disassembled beds and furniture and put everything back the way they found it. We were more than pleased with the whole project and the quality of the carpet and installation. We would definitely return to Key Flooring with any future needs and would recommend to family and friends.“
