I had a problem that needed to be taken care of immediately. I called them and they said come right on in and they took care of it and they are very caring and kind and professional people. I recommend them 100%.
No one likes going to the dentist. Let’s just be clear about that. I have had dental issues for my entire life. Probably because I did not get sufficient amounts of vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients until relatively recently. Especially vitamins B and C. From 2005 to 2018 I was trapped in an abusive situation where I gave up on life and definitely gave up on taking care of my own teeth. Then in early 2019 my abuser passed away and I began to take the vitamins and minerals I so desperately needed. By this time my mouth was a complete mess. I had many cavities, all of which were large. As disturbing as this may sound I began to enjoy the pain they caused me. The pain reminded me that I was alive. It was a pain I thought I could control. All I needed to do was regularly brush my teeth and the pain would subside. In mid 2023 I finally had the money to get my teeth fixed. I asked an acquaintance on social media who lived in Twin Falls for a recommendation for a dentist and that’s how I first heard of Roberts and Hall. I made an appointment, filled out some online paperwork and when I showed up I was impressed by the care they took with me. They worked around my very strong gag reflex in their x ray process. I was expecting harsh judgment for having let my teeth get so bad. I was expecting what I had endured in dentistry for most of my life. Dentists and technicians who forced their way through treatment. I was almost shocked to find how gentle the process was. That said, it was still a heck of a process! 16 Cavities, 3 crowns and the first irrigation cleaning of my gums I had ever experienced. At the start I was asked, “you really aren’t in pain?” I really wasn’t. But as the decay was drilled out of my teeth I experienced an effect like the nerves in my mouth were coming back to life after many years of abuse. I took magnesium and large doses of vitamin c to facilitate this process of regrowth. I wanted to get this all over with as quickly as possible. They suggested a somewhat slower treatment schedule and I’m very glad they did. Even under the most gentle of circumstances with the most competent of surgeons and technicians it seems the human body. Or at least my body could only take just so much dental work at a time. After six months of work it was done. It’s been almost a month since my last visit and I’m still very much getting used to my new teeth. It felt more like a total rebuild of my mouth than just the removal of decay. I feel like a new man. Everyone at Roberts and Hall very much earned their pay ripping the decay out of my mouth. They have been consistently compassionate and reasonable through the whole process. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
The staff at Roberts and Hall are always friendly and helpful, whether it comes to dental care or billing. Dr. Roberts, Mya, Destiny, Haiden, Lacy, Carol, and Nicole are the best! Thank you, Roberts and Hall. PS There are others not mentioned including Dr. Hall, who are great. I just don’t happen to know their names.
