Dr. McNamara went above and beyond any general expectation of a dentist. He got me into his office right away, was extremely professional and with my unique needs at the time, made me feel very safe and relaxed. After being a dental assistant for many years, I had gone through a rough time in my life and hadn't been in for any dental care in years. When I contacted him I was very embarrassed at how I had let my dental care go over the years. I had a cavity on my front tooth and could see it when I smiled. Yesterday I went in to get a tooth fixed which was causing me some immense pain. Dr. McNamara quickly diagnosed the problem. Let me tell you, I can’t stand the dentist. The thought of someone drilling and grinding on my teeth is almost as bad as spiders but from the moment I sat down to the moment I left I felt completely comfortable with his steady hands and calm demeanor. I actually almost fell asleep. It’s been 24 hrs since having my broken tooth fixed and it feels like I never even had work done. The pain is gone and my focus is back. I have never had such a painless experience at the dentist. I went in after 3 weeks of level 7 consistent pain and multiple teeth needing to be addressed. The entire staff makes you feel like a human and not just a patient, they were helpful in every step of the visit and even answering all questions I didn't know I had. Most importantly, there was no pain during my procedure and yes I was awake and aware the whole time. I highly recommend Dr. Nick McNamara for all dental needs
