Unfortunately we'll be putting our dog down. We had brought our dog to be seen and had recommendations for some diagnostic work but refused based off our dog's age. We had called again to get assistance until we were able to book a date to put her down, but we refused additional diagnostic work on her. Christine, the manager had reached out and was very kind and personable regarding what we are going through as pet parents.

Best vet ever. Caring and compassion for our cat and for us. Can't say enough good about this place. Just wish I found them sooner! Kyle Reijm is probably the most caring and compassionate vet we have had. We took our cat Zoey in due to idiopathic chylothorax. Dr. Reijm and his staff are the reason we will continue to come back. The absolute care and confidence they exhude when we were emotionally taxed is nothing short of remarkable. They called to check up on our Zozo and helped guide us through a very difficult time. We will continue to come here and I HIGHLY recommend this vets office. Dr. Reijm and his staff are pure gold and thank goodness we got so lucky to find them! And this is from a guy (me) who trusts nobody with my beloved Zoey....but I damn sure trust Dr. Reijm and the staff. I have been to many vets, this place had me on day 1. I wish all vets were this amazing, caring and compassionate. And the front office staff: it doesn't get better than these folks. Amazing and put you at ease with a caring smile. What an absolutely phenomenal group of people from A to Z!

My pups actual Vet. River City Animal. Couldn't care less how sick she was. Just said well she is 15 1/2. What? The wonderful staff at VCA got us in urgently even though we weren't patients. Very caring Doctors and staff. Will be moving all our animals there.
