I live in NY & have been studying/practicing martial arts for only 3 years. During that time I've only attended one dojo located in my hometown. Business travel brought this 61-year-old student to Pocatello. Called ahead hoping to train while in town. Sensei David invited me in & upon arrival I was warmly welcomed. Joined in their Wednesday evening 'Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals' class and enjoyed it immensely! Later that same evening I observed their 'Adult Jiu Jitsu' class & was thoroughly impressed. I’ve trained at multiple Places in town and colossal is the one that stuck! Been here two years and couldn’t ask for a better gym or environment. Jiujitsu is fantastic. Tons of medals and awards and they also have two mma belt holders and champions. Best gym out here

I have been so impressed with the environment at Colossal! It is a great place for kids/youth, women, men, and gorillas -- you know who you are! They do a great job training, not just the skills but also the reasoning, positive mindsets, self improvement, and team player mindsets. They build each other whether this is an attempt at something new or a dedicated sport. Women's Self Defense class was so empowering! I have gained a great deal of respect for the coaches and culture.
