Even with the best intentions, things happen. The staff service was exceptional, how ever the product I received wasn't quite up to the quality, I was used to. My glasses did not perform as expected and issues arose. I was very frustrated and and across the country, so I opted to make a harsh review to vent, again I was extremely frustrated, still not an excuse.I got back from vacation to a sincere voicemail asking me to please come in for a chance to help me. Which of course I obliged, apologized for the review, and we together found a solution. I learned things about prescriptions lenses and frames, and was fit with a style of frames I hadn't even considered. From Kimber...read full review
Doctor is awsome no complaints eyeglass section different story said two weeks for glasses been five weeks called 3 times to find out statistics never received return call finally got lady to check she said another 3 to 5 days will never use this business again nice staff but do not give good service for amount of money
This is only 3 stars for the doctor, he brought it up. He's with 5 stars but the optical and contacts ordering is 1 star. I'm incredibly frustrated. I just visited and had an eye appointment after going to this doctor for years. I have double insurance and i ordered two pairs of glasses and daily contacts for a year. First, i was told pricing and what would be covered. It was expensive, but I expected that. When they told me the total I debated the second pair of glasses, then they told me that I would be able to get an instant rebate for 300 on the contacts. I spent 600 for glasses out of pocket (partially because frames are double the price of everywhere else) but i have always liked Alemeda vision so I let that go. Then i was told I should take home the contacts and see which ones were best and then i could pay the additional part of my out of pocket cost when i called to order contacts. I was told my insurance would pay 130 towards contacts and after the 300 rebate my contacts should be about 200. So, I agreed. Paid for the glasses and tried the contacts. Then i called two days later to select my contacts. They couldn't take a payment and they'd call me back. They never did. So i called again today. She told me the total is 500+ i said what about the instant rebate? Well, it isn't instant. So i have to pay, wait for the contacts (which are on backorder) and then there's codes on the back of the boxes and then i have to use my receipt and claim it with the manufacturer. We all know that this is going to take months. So I'm out that 300 until God knows when. I'm so upset and stressed over this. It's so much money and I feel like I was lied to. If they'd been honest from the get go I would have made different choices. They offered to cancel but.... i need contacts. I need to see. I have double insurance, and I've now spent over 1000 dollars and they don't seem to care at all that I was misled and that this will make me take my business elsewhere. So now I'm mad. I'm mad that I was misled and WAY overcharged. The second pair of glasses I ordered was with frames I owned, so I'm paying 600 for two pairs of glass, one with frames i own after double insurance, plus 500 something for contacts. I did get nice frames on the one pair but like I said, double the price of online retailers. Now i could have researched that ahead and gone elsewhere, that's on me. So if you're reading this- do that. Next time I'll just get an exam or go to someone else and order my contacts and glasses with literally anyone else.
