First day of vacation, I have a freak accident which resulted in a plateau fracture of my tibia. My husband dialed 911 and I landed in the emergency room at Saint Alphonsus on a Saturday evening. Surgery to place hardware was recommended for the very next morning. I have nothing but praise for all the medical professionals I encountered from the day I was admitted to the day of my release. Everyone was kind, compassionate and eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Got the tips of my fingers cut off with a mower accident was an excruciating pain their ER was very busy but they got me back as soon as possible and got me fixed up the nurse was absolutely awesome the X-ray Tech to the doctor were all great their staff is doing unbelievable job and I would never go anywhere else please be considerate and have patience when you go to places like this because it is not easy for these doctors and nurses to do their jobs but I know I wasn't alone they helped me tremendously I thought I would lose my fingers but they assured me that I wasn't going to happen they cleaned it irrigated it did their jobs with a smile on their face... read full review

I would give 5 star review except the MRI machine was down and I was in a room quite a while before going in and on a hard table quite a while before they gave up and called tech support. Aside from that, the staff was wonderful, kind compassionate and pretty much everything you could ask for. Even when I totally stuck my foot in my mouth the person that was the object of my faux pas was still very nice about it. Ironically I've had the same thing happen to me so I guess it's like you accumulate faux pas points and then spend them. Now her pocket is lined with faux pas points to use.
